003 - The Compound Effect - Darren Hardy

Finished - June 2020

My Thoughts - Darren gives a simple but not easy approach to becoming a better you. It involves paying attention more than anything. We’re all so accustomed to living on autopilot that we don’t notice our habits… good or bad.

His focus is to help you decide what things you would like to improve about yourself and take small consistent steps so that over time the effects of the new behaviors compound with incredible results.

In a weird way this project is actually a reflection of that attitude. I had previously read this book and it was just as good the second time around. Easing into changes can sometimes be as good or better than jumping in headfirst. Do things with purpose, do them consistently, and watch the changes come over time.
