I’m on a mission to read 1,000 books between when I started this list (April 2020)and before I die (TBD). I’m not counting anything I’ve read up to this point which, if I had to estimate, is maybe a couple hundred. I’ve never been a reader, I’ve sort of romantically wanted to be a reader at times in my life, but I’m just not very good at it. I don’t know that I ever learned how to do it well, or correctly for that matter. I’m pretty sure I just memorized all the words I know and 95% of those end up being used- in anything I read anyway. I read to myself in the exact same cadence a speed that I do as if I were reading out loud. I’m basically reading to myself instead of just reading. I don’t know if that made sense to you, but it did to me so I’m keeping it in. I got the idea, ambition, and confidence to tackle this from watching a YouTube video. I know, that’s weird, but here we are. Blame Max Joseph, and while we’re at it, let Tim Urban get in on some of the responsibility. Max made a 37 minute short film called, Bookstores : How to Read More Books in the Golden Age of Content.

I can’t promise you will find what you’re looking for, but you might find something you like. My email is always open if you think there is something that I should read.
